"Suspect sought in Greeley shooting." By The Denver Post. In this article it mattered that the shooter or suspect is "on the loose" and needs to be caught. After reading this I couldn't help but wonder to myself why would he shoot another man in a public building? The good thing is that the man was not killed. But, it is still unacceptable that he would shoot someone. The victim could have been seriously injured or killed and that's just not fair. But, it makes me wonder or almost feel bad for the shooter. I almost pity him for the fact that you must have some mental challenges or needs that made him shoot someone. So that also brings a question to mind, Does the shooter have mental problems? In this story I think that it is not fair that a man was shot for no apparent reason, but makes me wonder is the shooter has mental issues.

"Boy arrested for alleged threats at Fountain Highschool." By The assoiated Press. In this story it mattered that there was a very sick boy that was very "Confused" says Sgt. Jess freeman. I think it is very intresting that no one noticed that a young boy like this likely has mental issues. I tink it is so stupid and sad that there is more violevce and crime occuring then less. Why? What is the point of threating a boy? I just don't understand why people keep doing this stuff. All that comes out of it is people getting hurt and going to jail. This boy wil likely be fined because his parents have failed to notice that he has some problams. It is getting worse, all this crime and violence.

"Armed standoff With police in Winter park." By Joey Bunch. In this story what mattetred is that the author just needed to get the information out about a standoff and mabye to intrest some people. I always think that these kind of stories are kind of intresting. When I read this two immediate questions came to my mind. Was anyone killed? and Why was there a standoff in the first place? I really hope there was not anyone killed, that would horrible. It's not fair that some person trying to make a quick buck would kill an innocent police man trying to do his job. I'm not really sure what I think of this story but whoever was shhoting at the police got what he deserved.

In the article "Boyfriend arrested in murder of Brighton woman." By Kirk Mitchell, In this article it mattered that the man who killed his girlfriend in more senseless violence. The article did not go into much detail, but it sounds like more crime for no reason. In this story it was different than my last ones, the loved one did the killing. He lost his girlfriend, but because he killed her not someone else. It surprises me that a man would do that just out of the blue. He was probably the killer because he was the one to be last seen with her. I quite honestly am sick of all this nonsense and violence. My question is why?, why would you kill your girlfriend? That makes no sense to me, I guess I have a lot to learn. In this story there was a killing that was for no reason and basically should not have been committed.

"Sheridan teacher charged in child sex case." By the Denver post. In this story it mattered that a teacher that had sex with a child was arrested and jailed. Once again there was an illegal doing here and someone did something horrible for pleasure. I think it ridiculous that a teacher would actually sleep with another student. I mean come on she was probably giving him an A and he was probably not doing a thing to deserve the grade he was getting. By sleeping with the teacher it disrupts his learning and that will hurt him later in life. I think it is pro postures that a teacher would even think of doing that. The teacher is hurt by this because she is suspended and not being paid, but it hurts the kid even more because it is likely that he is not learning and doing his own work.

In the article Memorial to Loveland shooting victim disappears, by the associated press. in this story it matters that as if it wasn't bad enough that a kid was killed, but his memorial was taken, that's just horrible. In this story, like my others, it is mostly about senseless crime and violence. What did this child do to deserve this? He probably didn't do anything to who ever killed him. It was probably just some gang annotation. That's what I think, but another brother or sister or mom or dad lost someone they loved because of something really stupid. Our economy is having a hard time, and on top of that this kids parents have to have a funeral. That is just plain and simply not fair. I don't think any violence is right so we really need to try to stop it all together. So many families are losing people they love.

PLN 10

Denver drive-by shooter kills victim,by Kieran Nicholson. In this story it mattered that there is probably a gang member that once again killed someone for no random reason. If you read my previous PLN's you will se a lot of deaths in them. Most of them were random and very violent. The boy was just walking down a street and was shot with his two friends and was shot, as it says in the article. But, in this story the police are doing something to find him instead of blowing it off which makes me happy to see them working. That proves that they are taking these crimes very seriously and want to put a stop to it, which also matters to the author. I think as well as the author that we need to put the criminals in jail and keep the good people safe.
